Sum up your book-what is it about? How would you describe it in 100 words or less?
If I had to sum up the book in only a few words it would simply be this: any belief in unworthiness is a mistaken belief-so is a belief in "God at a distance". Most of humankind has been believing something that is not true, and this belief has caused all kinds of suffering for thousands of years. The book explains what we can do to change this.
What do you mean by “God at a distance”?
That God is off somewhere else- in the heavens somewhere. God is closer than the next breath you take. Right here-right now. There is no separation from God.
Do you see yourself as a messenger?
Not really- I guess I am. But I don't think of myself in that way. In truth, I think we're all carrying messages of one kind or another.
Who are some of the messengers that have inspired you?
Jesus, Buddha, Gandhi, Lao Tzu, Mother Theresa, St. Francis, Meister Eckhart, Ernest Holmes, Mathew Fox, Dr. Martin Luther King, Thomas Merton, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Ram Dass..there are so many! But these are the ones that come to mind right now.
If you had to choose only one thing that you're book might help someone do, what would it be?
To be more loving and kind toward them self so that they can be more loving and kind toward others.
